Gray Sasser Joins Frost Brown Todd

Firm Welcomes Former Export-Import Bank Senior Vice President for Congressional Affairs

March 29, 2012

Frost Brown Todd’s rapidly-expanding Nashville office is pleased to announce the addition of Gray Sasser. As a former Senior Vice President for Congressional Affairs of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Sasser brings significant international and federal government experience when he officially joins the firm as counsel on April 16.

Since departing the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Sasser has been assisting clients navigate the “alphabet soup” of federal agencies responsible for export and trade promotion, and explore cross-border trade and investment opportunities. Sasser will be joining Frost Brown Todd’s Business Combinations & Securities Group with a focus in International Services, advising foreign companies growing the regional economy through direct investment in the U.S., while assisting American companies expand their global footprint.

Sasser currently teaches a course on Asia’s emerging economies as an adjunct at Belmont University. He previously served as chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party and has practiced law in Nashville, Houston and Beijing with Miller & Martin PLLC and Vinson & Elkins LLP.

The addition of Sasser supports the firm’s strategic plan to continue to grow in the Nashville market. The firm announced in December that its Nashville office will be relocating in May 2012 to the Pinnacle in an effort to further accommodate this rapid growth.
