Frost Brown Todd Attorney to Serve on Advisory Board of Nation’s 5th Largest Commercial Bank

Frost Brown Todd attorney Jennifer Barber has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Bank’s Louisville Advisory Board.U.S. Bancorp has over $370 billion in assets and is the parent company of U.S. Bank, the fifth largest commercial bank in the United States. The company has a history spanning 150 years and operates more than 3,000 banking offices around the country. The goal and purpose of the advisory board is to involve community leaders to share information and ideas which will assist the company’s market leaders in making decisions.

Other members of the board include Gary Ulmer (President, Louisville Bats), Bill Mudd (President and CFO, Churchill Downs Incorporated), Talmage Hocker (President, The Hocker Group), Ben Richmond (President and CEO, Louisville Urban League), Rick Remmers (Vice President, Humana, Inc.), John Buchino, M.D. (Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics, University of Louisville), and Audwin Helton (President and Founder, Spatial Data Integrations).

Barber focuses her law practice in the areas of state and local tax, tax controversy and economic development.  She has represented the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a key advisor on tax policy in Kentucky. Barber has been named to Kentucky Rising Stars® and Martindale Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. She is a Frankfort, KY, native and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2008. She received her bachelor’s degree from UK in 2005.
