J. Alexander Strohm
Alex is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Business Litigation practice groups. Alex was a summer associate with the firm prior to joining the firm in 2015. He helps clients across a variety of industries, focusing on the representation of general contractors in construction disputes, but has experience assisting clients in real estate, insurance, suretyship, and general commercial matters.
Alex is a Cincinnati native, attending Indian Hill High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati. He also earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he served on the Executive Committee of Law Review and earned numerous academic distinctions. He has also been published in the area of employment discrimination.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex worked in-house with a large concrete subcontractor in Cincinnati, assisting in employment, worker’s compensation, contract, and union issues. He also has experience working as a project engineer for both a general contractor on projects throughout the greater Cincinnati area and an electric design-build firm based in San Diego, California, helping to build the General Motors proving grounds in Yuma, Arizona.
