Howard concentrates his practice in banking and creditors' rights, corporate and real estate law. He represents financial institutions and insurance companies in the documentation and workout of commercial loans, including lien foreclosure actions and the negotiation of bankruptcy plans for reorganization, lifting of stay and other bankruptcy and creditors' rights issues. He also has extensive experience in regulatory matters, the purchase and sale of financial institution assets and consumer credit. Howard also represents a wide variety of businesses in their contract matters and the purchase and sale of businesses and business assets.

Represented buyer in $55,000,000 nursing home and assisted living facilities involving 19 entities

Represented bank client in $22,000,000 revolving credit facility for new residential construction

Represented bank in $14,000,000 hotel construction

Represented bank in $9,000,000 and $19,000,000 apartment construction

Represented bank in $12,000,000 retail development

Represented banks in various restructuring and liquidations of business and commercial real estate investments, including an automotive manufacturing facility, a food processing plant, an apartment project, a multiplex cinema, and a residential home builder
