Jennifer A. O'Guinn
Jennifer is a member in the corporate and business department, focusing her practice in both the lending/commercial services and bankruptcy/restructuring areas. Jennifer is admitted to practice in Indiana and Ohio, and practices in the Firm's Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio offices. She has significant experience in all aspects of commercial lending as well as chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Her commercial transactions practice focuses on representing financial institutions in connection with the documentation, negotiation and closing of a variety of transactions, including construction loans, asset based loans, and working capital facilities. Her bankruptcy practice focuses on representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees and trustees in all aspects of insolvency proceedings..
Jennifer has significant experience as opinion counsel, including non-consolidation opinions in connection with complex lending transactions. She is also knowledgeable and has counseled clients in the area of IRS Revenue Procedure 97-13 and its implications on "private business use" of tax-exempt bond-financed facilities.
