Leslie G. Taulbee
Leslie is a senior paralegal in Frost Brown Todd’s Insurance Regulatory Practice Group. While at Frost Brown Todd Leslie’s concentration has been in the insurance regulatory compliance field. She provides paralegal assistance to help companies maintain regulatory compliance by preparing for and defending market conduct investigations and regulatory settlement agreement actions. These have included market action working group (MAWG) enforcement actions and NAIC data calls and documenting organizational processes and controls.
Other aspects of insurance regulatory compliance that Leslie assists with are Holding Company System filings and merger/acquisitions, UCAA Redomestication and expansion applications, and regulation, licensing, and compliance of service contract providers/obligors and Administrator/TPAs. Leslie has experience with all aspects of extended warranty and service contract programs, including the development of those programs. As part of the program development process, Leslie conducts product form and rate filings for approval with state regulatory agencies through SERFF (System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing).
Leslie has extensive experience with large scale document and data management, project leadership and trial preparation. Leslie joined the firm in 2012, with over eight years of litigation and trial preparation experience She also has a background in Insurance Defense, Administrative Hearings, Employment Law, Family Law, Collections, Estate Work, and Workers' Compensation.
