Olivia K. Snider
Olivia is an associate with the business combinations and capital transactions group in Frost Brown Todd’s Louisville office. She focuses her practice in the areas of corporate law and bankruptcy and restructuring.
In the corporate law arena, Olivia advises clients in a variety of matters related to their businesses and operations, including entity formation, contract negotiation and formation, securities compliance, private equity financing, and corporate governance. She has participated in several acquisition transactions involving healthcare and consumer product companies, as well as capital raising transactions.
In the bankruptcy and restructuring realm, Olivia focuses her practice on creditor rights, preferential transfer and fraudulent conveyance law, and utility law. Olivia has represented secured and unsecured creditors, as well as goods and services providers, including utility companies, logistics and transportation companies, chemical companies, manufacturers, suppliers, and banks. She has handled bankruptcy matters in various jurisdictions throughout the United States; including, the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the Southern District of Indiana, Delaware and the Southern District of New York. Bankruptcy cases which she has worked on include the Westinghouse, hhGregg, Delivery Agent, and Appleton Paper bankruptcy actions.
Olivia graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law with cum laude honors, where she served as a Staff Editor on the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law and was chosen as UK Law's 2016 Nominee to the American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Law Student Program. Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013.
Olivia currently participates as a mentor in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, and assisted with the launch event for the Fall of 2017.
