Sean Ryan is an associate in Frost Brown Todd’s Labor and Employment practice group. Sean is driven to help his clients craft workplace policies that both accomplish business objectives and comply with the variety of federal and state laws encountered in the workplace. Sean represents clients in federal and state court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies relating to all aspects of employment litigation—from inception through trial or arbitration.
Sean’s passion for labor and employment law began during his federal clerkships. Sean served as law clerk for the Honorable Gregory S. Stivers, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the Honorable Lisa Godbey Wood, United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Sean diligently tracks developments across all areas of labor and employment law and regularly writes on emerging topics affecting employers.
Sean has experience defending claims brought under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and the FLSA. In addition to representing clients under federal and state employment statutes, Sean also represents clients in state and federal court on non-compete issues.
