Data Privacy Detective Podcast

IoT – the Internet of Things – is the interconnection of physical objects and data. Smart phones, cars, buildings, and even toys connect to the internet to transmit and receive data. And so, the security threat arises, and with it, the potential raids on our data privacy. But the IoT risk is far more than a stolen credit card number or a banking loss. The risk is mortal and pervasive.

Your life and a country’s electric grid are at risk if a critical device is hacked and the hacker issues a malicious command through the IoT.

In this podcast, we explore the command and control issues within the Internet of Things and the security risk we confront.
