Doing Business in Kuwait
|Date||September 9, 2005|
Frost Brown Todd LLC Lexington
Breakfast Seminar: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Co-sponsored by the Kentucky World Trade Center and Frost Brown Todd LLC
Kim Campbell of the American Business Council-Kuwait will be speaking on doing business in Kuwait. Kim, a Lexington native and current resident of Kuwait, will highlight the export potential that lies in Kuwait and how Kentucky companies are primed to capitalize on this market. A Trade and Investment Framework Agreement already exists between the United States and Kuwait. The two countries are negotiating a Free Trade Agreement, which could lead to even easier access of the Kuwait market.
Kuwait is a safe, peaceful country and its people are kind, generous, and very loyal to the United States. It is a booming country, presenting a tantalizing market for U.S. exports, and it serves as a gateway to Iraq, another market teeming with export opportunities.
