Dan is a staff attorney in the Lexington office where he is a member of the Regulated Business Practice Group on the Insurance Service Team. Dan began his legal career working in the IT field, where he applied his understanding of technology and the law to aid others in their areas of practice. Now as a practicing attorney, Dan works with a variety of clients to help them anticipate and resolve the challenges and opportunities created by technological innovations in the insurance industry. Dan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2014. While in Law School, Dan competed on the UC Law Mock Trial Competition Team and was the President of the law school’s chapter of The Federalist Society.
Before attending Law School, Dan served in the US Army and was later employed by a host of Department of Defense contractors. During this time period, he became a qualified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) drone pilot on the ScanEagle platform and served multiple tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other conflict zones. Dan has held a Top Secret SCI clearance with the Department of Defense and has worked on projects for many government agencies and organizations.
