Elmer Martín Uribe
Martín focuses his practice on U.S. Immigration and Nationality law, particularly in business immigration. He has several years of experience advising large companies on different types of nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, and compliance issues, including obtaining H-1B, TN, L, and E non-immigrant visas; PERM filings, I-140s, adjustment of status, and naturalization; and advising and training on I-9 compliance and site visits. Beyond business immigration, Martín has experience working on asylum cases, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and family-based petitions. Martin is originally from Peru, and his interest in immigration law stems from his own experiences as an immigrant. Martin earned his B.A. in international Affairs from the University of Georgia in 2010 and his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America in 2014.
