Jim represents lenders in connection with the origination of commercial real estate loans destined for securitization through the issuance of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities. Jim’s previous experience has included serving as Vice President for J.P. Morgan Mortgage Capital in Atlanta, Georgia where he managed all structuring, legal and funding functions for annual originations in excess of $3 billion, and serving as Executive Vice President of Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance, where he was responsible for managing origination, structuring, underwriting and closing of mortgage loans under $10 million, and was responsible for managing the structuring and closing of all loans originated by the platform with annual volume in excess of $4 billion. At both J.P. Morgan Mortgage Capital and Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance, Jim was a member of all credit committees with respect to the origination of mortgage loans. Prior to that, Jim served as an attorney representing lenders in the origination of commercial real estate loans, and in the origination and structuring of other commercial credit products.
