Tyler J. Wicker
Tyler joined our Insurance Regulatory practice in Lexington, KY in the fall of 2018 after two years of litigation practice at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP.
Tyler brings a unique perspective to this area. In his prior position, Tyler was called upon to defend a multitude of clients from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. During his practice, Tyler worked on a variety of litigation including personal injury, products liability, coal leasing disputes, insurance defense, class actions, complex asbestos litigation, railroad defense (including FELA), and consumer debt litigation.
During law school, Tyler worked as a research assistant with Rutheford B. Campbell at the University of Kentucky on securities regulation. Tyler was also a member of the moot court board, trial advocacy board, and received the highest grade in his Contracts II class. Similarly, Tyler’s undergraduate emphasis was in the areas of business, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky with departmental honors.
Tyler leverages his breadth of knowledge and experience to find innovative solutions to his insurance client’s regulatory issues. From licensing to market conduct investigations, Tyler is quickly becoming an astute insurance expert ready to serve his client’s needs be it legal, business, or otherwise.
