Zach concentrates his practice on labor, employment, privacy and data security law. He provides legal counseling and representation on all labor and employment issues, including unfair labor practice charges, labor negotiations and arbitrations, federal and state agency investigations, employment discrimination, protected leave issues and whistleblower complaints. Zach developed a particular interest in representing management under the Railway Labor Act after spending a year working as a law clerk at Pinnacle Airlines. Zach is a Senior Editor of The Railway Labor Act by BNA books, the authoritative treatise on the RLA.
Zach also maintains an active privacy and data security practice focused on helping employers navigate privacy and data security matters related to their employees, such as data breach response, employee monitoring, biometric privacy, and compliance with the emerging landscape of privacy laws and regulations. Zach is a certified information privacy professional in U.S. law (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
